Australian Digital Theses (ADT) Program

Citing and Managing References

Use this service to find digital versions of higher degree theses (PhD/Masters by Research) completed at UNSW, UNSW@ADFA, and many other Australian universities.

 

Links to resources that provide some guidelines for using the many different citation styles available to reference authors, books, journals, Internet sources etc...

Computing Services, Photocopying and Printing

Copyright Advice and Support

If you are ever on campus, there are a number of public access computers and printing facilities available within the Library. Also provided are student network data ports which allow you to connect your laptop to the Student Network and access online resources at UNSW@ADFA and from the Internet... This service provides some guidelines to copyright law as it affects UNSW@ADFA. It provides you with information about definitions, recognition and protection of copyright within our educational context...
Course Reserve For Off-Campus Students FAQs

The Course Reserve Collection is a collection of material in heavy demand. Material is placed in Course Reserve by Academic staff to be available for short-term loan.

Material in the Course Reserve Collection is not available for loan to off-campus students. However, you can order a photocopy or electronic copy from material in the collection...

If you require an item which is not held by the Library, you can use the Inter Library Loan & Document Delivery Service (ILL/DDS) to obtain it from another library or from a commercial document supplier... Learn how to use the Library and its resources as effectively as possible. The Library can organise orientation tours, tailored information skills classes and hands-on workshops on a range of topics relevant to course/assessment requirements...
Reference Service

Multimedia Collection and Service

The Ask Us service is an electronic facility that enables you to find answers to FAQs, or to request information and/or assistance in a range of areas, including library queries, educational technology matters and information technology issues.

Off-campus students are able to access many of the items in the Multimedia Collection - videos, DVDs, CDs, kits, slides, sound recordings etc ...

Requesting Items from the Library

If you are undertaking research in the areas of Australian literature or Military history and are able to come on campus, the Special Collections Service could be very useful for you. Special Collections holds many rare books, maps and manuscript collections relating to Australian literature and history...
