Student ID card, UniPass & ADFAPass

The official forms of identification areyour Student ID card, your UniPass and ADFAPass.

Your Student ID card is required as proof of identity. It is used for accessing many University services and Library resources. It is also your library card, used for borrowing books or other library materials. For more information about your ID card, visit the Student ID page at the UNSW A-Z Student Guide.

Your UniPass is your UNSW password. Once you are fully enrolled you will receive your official or full UniPass. It is used for logging into MyUNSW. You will need to activate your student account by agreeing to the conditions of use, before you can use your UniPass. At ADFA you will also receive an ADFAPass (pdf) which is used for logging into library resources and accessing your student email.

Student email

All your official University correspondence will be sent to your student email address. You must check here for messages from your lecturer, enrolment details and other important information. The Library will also contact you via this email address so you should check it regularly.
