I can hardly believe it, but I am finally here at UNSW@ADFA! I have made it through YOFT so I think I have marching and saluting under control now (well with a bit of practice I will). Now I just need to learn more about what is expected from the university side of things!!
Perhaps PK can help – PK is a good friend who also went to my high school a couple of years ago. PK is a third year UNSW@ADFA student so he knows the ropes, and hopefully he can head me in the right direction. There has been a lot to learn in a really short time and I think that the learning is just beginning. I reckon with all the excitement I might as well take you along for the ride. Who knows, maybe you will end up learning a thing or two from me!

One of the first things I obtained was my Student ID number card complete with a mug shot. It seems that there is not much you can do on campus without this little card. As well as being my Library borrower's card, this Student ID card is literally your ticket and key to most venues on campus, so I'm guarding it with my life (well almost)! I'm sure my friend PK knows all about this because he lost his ID card in his 2nd year and had to pay to get it replaced!
Also, my Student ID (with a z in front e.g. z1234567), along with my ADFAPass are used as login details to access the Internet, email and most of the Library's electronic resources. So I guess there are lots of reasons for me to keep my card with me at all times.
